THE RIGHT COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND INNOVATION

Founded in 2000, First Point Global was one of the first companies of its kind – making us a pioneer in the then-new and unfamiliar world of identity management. Today, we’re still pioneers in the field. We focus not on how we’ve always done things, but on what we’ve learned about how we can do them better as we move forward.

EVOLVING TO INCREASE BUSINESS VALUE

Our work has evolved and our business has grown over the years, but the changes have always been in the service of the same goal: delivering solutions that bring real business value to our clients.

We started with finding ways to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness in areas like Access Control and User Provisioning – referred to as Identity and Access Management. In 2006, we were the first Australian company to promote the concept of Identity and Access Governance - ironically, the management layer missing in Identity and Access Management systems. Since then, we’ve progressed to innovative governance solutions for SOA, Web and Cloud that bridge the gap between technology-driven Identity and Access Management and business decision-making.

As enterprises are increasingly being driven to open applications and services to external developers through public-facing APIs, we’re also helping them implement secure enterprise scale API management – enabling a world of opportunities to build information-based applications through the new digital media, Information Portals, or mobile devices such as the Apple iPad.

  • Account and Service Provisioning  (2003 - 2011)
  • Access Control: from RBAC to ABAC  (2000 - 2011)

BUILDING CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS THAT LAST

We rarely part company with clients after a project; in fact, we have clients who’ve been with us since we started. That’s because we’re committed to working with them over time to continually improve the level of business value we deliver. We integrate incremental services into their identity infrastructures on an ongoing basis, based on new opportunities we identify to add business value, or on new business challenges they bring to us. Our clients include many of the largest financial services organizations, government agencies, and companies representing the telecommunications, manufacturing and entertainment industries across Asia and Australia.
